This is my suggestion.
Google is having a product named as BLACKLE (http://www.blackle.com)
There, they are using only black and white color. The Objective is to Save power. While using Black and White colors in our monitor the power will be saved.
That is, we can use our desktop background as black color to save the power in our office.
